D & G Uniforms opened for business in 1980 in the Portage Lakes area of Summit County. We moved to Kenmore in 1981 and then to the Ellet area in 1998. Our present location at 788 Evans Ave was purchased in 2006 allowing us to expand our inventory.

The original focus of the business was police uniforms and equipment along with guns and ammunition. The business moved to the Kenmore area of Akron in 1981 and to the present location in the Ellet area in 1998. The sale of guns and ammunition was discontinued in 1987 and the business was expanded to include fire and EMS uniforms and equipment.

We offer quality products from well known manufacturers, and pride ourselves in our service to these departments. We have seamstresses in the store 5 days a week to tailor uniforms to your needs.
